Microbiological diagnosis of wound infections - Its importance and practice
Csilla Csabai DandárnéPrimary skin suppuration and superinfections are mainly caused by microorganisms living on the skin, very often together with secondary pathogens. For the doctor to get quick and rapid infomration on the findings of tests, sampling should ensure the isolation of the real pathogen(s) /invasive sampling/, appropriate transfer of the sample and great care in preparing smears for the direct microbiological study of the sample.
